Early in life Wendy discovered the power of words and gravitated towards unique expressions of how she communicated. The best example of her creativity was taking long trips across the state to visit with her father after her parents divorce. Her father and sister would create goofy songs about everything from the beautiful leaves changing to the moonlight coming through the sunroof of the car he was driving. These experiences led to a passion to write and tell stories through songwriting. In high school she was taught by her creative writing instructor to say more with less, which she still challenges herself to do when she writes.
Collaborating with producers all over the world has increased the desire to continue to improve her skills with different sounds and genres of music although she loves the fast-pace of the CEDM/EDM/House music. She states as long as she can push positive energy in her writing, she can touch lives. She is now involved with educating new songwriters through webinars, meetup groups and chat sessions. One missing piece so many have in the business of music is understanding who they are, what they want to become in music and ensuring personal peace and wellness in the process. Wendy is here to help with that goal.
